  • Bryan Wroten: President

    Since his time installing fencing during his summers in high school, Bryan has been intrigued by building great things. From school remodels and fire stations to large multi-family developments and assisted living facilities, he has utilized a real-time collaborative process to successfully manage complex construction projects for more than two decades. With his focus on building teams and perfecting systems, Bryan brings vision and leadership to the Lotus General team. In his spare time Bryan enjoys reading, playing golf, and venturing down new roads with his wife Angela.

  • John Hulet: Chief Operating Officer

    John brings more than 20 years of construction experience to the Lotus General team. After owning a successful tile company where he learned what it takes to navigate the challenging subcontractor market, John moved his passion for building to the commercial sector in 2009. Since then, he has managed day-to-day operations on a variety of projects including big box retail, hospitality, and multi-family. As a General Superintendent, John’s technical expertise and unique problem-solving abilities have proven critical to the success of Lotus General projects since 2022. John spends his free time fly fishing, working with troubled youth, and spending time with his wife Emilee and their four children

  • Kevin Powell: Vice President of Preconstruction

    Kevin brings 25 years of dynamic construction expertise to the Lotus team, holding various management and executive roles both in the field and office environments. Over his career, Kevin has serviced a diverse clientele, overseeing multifamily, commercial, retail, industrial, and government projects with budgets scaling up to $80 million. In his role, Kevin spearheads the preconstruction phases, precisely managing conceptual budgeting, constructability reviews, estimating, value analysis, and scheduling. Kevin proudly calls Jacksonville, FL his hometown and is not only a dedicated construction professional but also a loving husband and father of three. He earned his Construction Management degree from the University of North Florida. Beyond his professional endeavors, Kevin is active with various trade organizations such as the Urban Land Institute and National Multifamily Housing Counsel, representing his passion for both professional advancement and community involvement. Furthermore, Kevin is also committed to philanthropy, generously contributing his time and expertise to various non-profit organizations, including the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation, Alex’s Lemonade Stand for Pediatric Cancer, and CISV International.

  • David Baxter: Construction Controller

    Dave joined the Lotus General team in the fall of 2022. Having worked in both the general contractor and subcontractor environment, Dave’s broad accounting experience in the construction industry has been integral in ensuring the company’s financial health and stability. His attention to detail and tireless drive to improve make him an indispensable member of the Lotus General team. He and his wife Kris currently reside in Ogden.

  • Caleb Moravec: Project Manager

    Caleb has been in the industry since 2018 and loved every minute. He never imagined being in the construction industry growing up but noticed a huge need for good management. He feels grateful for the opportunity to have a positive impact to the construction industry. Caleb graduated in May of 2022 from UVU with a bachelor’s in construction management technologies. Caleb has been married to his beautiful wife Danielle for four years and they have one beautiful daughter, Aria. Caleb grew up in the Bay Area of California, his wife grew up in Maryland, and they both enjoy it here in Utah. Caleb loves to be outdoors doing any combination of things; camping, hiking, playing sports, and more. He plays on an amateur men’s tackle football team on his days off. So, on Saturdays, he fills his days with getting beat up on the gridiron!

  • Nathan Ferre: Project Manager

    Nathan is a dedicated project manager at Lotus General, with a career spanning over a decade in the construction industry. Beginning his journey as a laborer in 2013, Nathan's relentless drive for improvement propelled him through the ranks to become a superintendent and eventually a project manager. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a remarkable ability to tackle challenges head-on and lead teams to successful outcomes. He has a proven track record of turning around struggling projects through problem-solving and creativity. Outside of work, Nathan can often be found camping, serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and playing sports and board games.

  • Tessa Gerritsen: Project Engineer

    Tessa brings nine years of experience in the construction industry to Lotus General, including commercial, renovation, design/build, and multi-family projects. She provides her wealth of knowledge within her sphere of influence and is an expert in the software and techniques required to perform day-to-day operations. She is a natural mentor to others including colleagues, supervisors, and vendors. Tessa takes pride in what she does and cares about her relationships with her teams and vendors. Tessa lives in Brigham City with her fiancé and son and enjoys being outdoors, camping, riding ATV’s, fishing, and BBQ’s. Her and her fiancé share their passion shooting shotguns in Trap, Sporting Clays, and Five Stand. Spending time with her family and friends brings her the most joy.

  • Nathan Richardson: Project Manager

    Nathan joined Lotus in November 2019, bringing a wealth of experience and a dynamic presence to the team. His time at Lotus has seen him successfully tackle positions as Project Manager, Superintendent, Construction Manager, Director of Operations, Estimator, and Assistant Project Manager. With a solid foundation in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah, where he graduated in 2006, Nathan has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and project oversight skills. His assertive approach has been crucial to the success of the Lotus General team. Happily married to his wife Joanna, Nathan is deeply passionate about his personal projects, frequently dedicating weekends to improving his home or tinkering in his greenhouse.

  • Gavin Harris: Superintendent

    Gavin began his career in construction with a homebuilder in Midvale constructing custom homes, townhomes, and spec homes. After a short time there, he then found myself working for a multifamily construction company which then led me to Lotus where I have been able to further perfect my skills as a site manager and put more emphasis on paying attention to the details. He is currently in his last year of a bachelor’s degree in construction management at Weber State University. He is eager to learn and to grow his knowledge of the construction industry and how to build better and more efficient projects for our clients. Caleb has an amazing wife who continues to support him in his career and educational goals.

  • Jake Witkowski: Superintendent

    Jake started his career in construction framing houses and townhomes as he worked on his bachelor's degree at Utah Valley University. Once he completed his degree he became a residential superintendent running townhomes for a local homebuilder. He is currently assisting on his first commercial project downtown. When he is not working Jake enjoys playing sports with friends and spending time with his wife and daughter.

  • Carlee Huckleberry: Job Cost Accountant

    From her beginnings in accounts payable and payroll for a welding company, Carlee has been doing hands-on accounting for six years. More recently she has played a specialized role as an account specialist for a successful restaurant group. Since moving to the GL side, Carlee has enjoyed a more analytical view and loves reconciling accounts like puzzles. She loves being in the construction industry and has been a valuable member of the team since 2023. When Carlee isn’t working, she’s usually at home with her pets, playing boardgames or TTRPG’s. She also enjoys drawing, art and doing things with her hands.

  • Kody Lewis: Superintendent

    Kody has worked in construction for the majority of his life. Between dirt work and high on the power lines and some residential projects, he boasts 12-plus years in construction. He still loves to learn and grow and is optimistic for what the future holds. Kpdy is from the small town of Kanarraville, UT. He loves the outdoors and does just about any activity that can get me out to be in it. Kody and his wife currently reside in Salt Lake City.
